reality… is so much more interesting that living happily ever after
OMG!!! I cannot believe the weekend I had.
So I have this resolution of going out more, changing environment, giving myself the opportunity of doing stuff.
So on friday I decided to go to a college basketball game to support our team. Then me and a friend stoped by starbucks for some Calm Tazo Tea (i am no longer drinking starbucks after 5 p.m. at risk of not sleeping).
I was about ready to go to bed when I started getting this texts from this guy I know from highschool (who was friends w/ my then boyfriend and is bff to my current bff) but whom I haven’t seen in like 7 years or so. Everytime he’s in town he texts me for going out, and well… at least for the last year and a half I’ve refused, I don’t really know why.
On friday night I decided to give it a shot. I was being rude by not even saying hi, so I stopped by his place just for a quick “hi, how are you” and then head for bed.
To my surprise the 10 minutes visit turned into 2.5 hrs, the first 30 or so minutes where kind of ackward and he showed me some pics of his job at the air force, and we pretended to watch t.v. Then he started tickling me, and I felt kind of very comfortable w/ it, then we cuddled and watched something on t.v., and then we ended making out for more than an hour. And OMG is he good at it!!!!!! He was AWESOME!!!! and not only awesome but funny, being able to laugh at this weird situations is very important… soo… yeah… he is funny and he definitely knows what he’s doing.
On saturday he was really not definitive about making plans together, and i did not accepted his “let’s hang out booty call” when he was drunk at midnight.
Then yesterday, I was at this lunch w/ my friend for her bday and he was leaving in the afternoon. We arranged for me to pick him up. My expectations were to have a “date” for the meal… his expectations were way more dirty. However I was driving, so we went to my friends place… only to find out he was related to more than half of the people there!!!! TALK ABOUT EMBARRASING!!! one of the guys was his uncle, and his aunt, and his cousins. It was REALLY EMBARASING!!! specially since he had not told them he was in town!!!!
Needless to say the incident totally ruined my mood, we left as soon as we could, since he was really unconfortable, but we laughed about it, and enjoyed of some clandestine action in a parking lot!!! LOL
Then I dropped him at his house, and at least I know he will talk to me again, judging by the little MSN chat we had while he waited for his connection at some airport.
It was weird in more than 1 way. For starters, he’s very close to people who are very close and dear to me and I don’t know how that can turn out. Then the I haven’t seen you in forever thing. Then, the whole family thing. Then, he has the same name as my former asshole boyfriend. So, it was very weird introducing him, and pronouncing his name in general… but it was even werider to call him by his last name while making out.
But in the end, all the weirdness was OH SO WORTH IT!!!! So much that he’s definetly my #1 hookup of the year ;)
